Awesome Chat
A self-built messenger-style application: local and social sign-in (Facebook, Google) with account-activation emails, friend management, text and emoji chat, image and file sharing, and online video calls — plus a news feed, group chat, reactions, comments, follows, and notifications.
What I did
- 1Design the database, RESTful API, and UI component structure.
- 2Develop all features across the front-end and back-end.
- 3Secure authentication with hashed passwords and JWT.
- 4Build and deploy on Heroku.
